Midwives For Haiti educates Haitian women in providing prenatal care and skilled birth assistance to their fellow Haitian sisters, who too frequently die in childbirth without such care. Our students are precepted by volunteer midwives from North America and Europe. The earthquake in January 2010 devastated parts of this beloved country and her people --- and made the work of Midwives For Haiti even more necessary. Please support our efforts by:

Birth Bliss and Happy Doula will be running an event on May 14th (3-5pm) that will benefit Midwives for Haiti! "Conversations in Childbirth"
will be a presentation by healthcare providers with a focus on
pregnancy and labor. You will be able to listen to presentations by a
Certified Nurse Midwife, a Doula, a Mother who experienced a water
birth, a Prenatal Yoga practitioner, a Prenatal Nutritionist, and a
Childbirth Educator. You then participate in a question and answer
session to have your specific questions addressed.
Suggested donation:
$10 per person. All proceeds to benefit Midwives for Haiti. You must
